Kari Hunnicutt

Devoted to exploring life to the fullest!

Born and raised in Washington state, Kari now calls NW Arkansas home, where she lives with her husband and four incredible children. She earned a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Washington while also nurturing her passion for dance with a minor in the subject. Putting her education to work, Kari served the Western Washington community for nearly two decades, igniting her entrepreneurial spirit spirit by founding and leading her own small business focused on addressing children's speech needs.

Kari's heart beats for serving the Lord and sharing the authentic highs and lows of her faith journey. Her profound desire to contribute to international missions has led her to play a pivotal role in developing a Christian school in Senegal, West Africa. This calling has further expanded to include serving on the Board of Directors for GO on the Mission, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering impoverished children to break the cycle of poverty through holistic, Christ-centered care.

While writing has been a lifelong passion for Kari - from participating in Young Writer's conferences to journaling from contributing to published research articles - "Dormant Faith" marks her debut as an author, bringing her written voice to a broader audience.

Beyond her professional and spiritual pursuits, Kari possesses an inexhaustible energy for exploration and physical challenges. This drive propels her to answer the call of wanderlust, seeing the world while pushing her limits through various athletic endeavors. In her downtime, Kari treasures moments spent with family and friends, and is often found cuddling with her French Bulldog while savoring a steaming Chai tea latte.
