I grew up with a legalistic mindset. I didn’t feel comfortable asking questions about my faith or why I believed what I believed.
In my early twenties, I walked away from God. During those years, I went hard into things I’m not proud of because, deep down, I knew they broke His heart.
But through God’s tough love and His steadfast grace, I came back to Him at thirty after a painful divorce.
I have never looked back.
After returning to Christ, God began shaping me into who He created me to be. He started with the issue that was keeping me from true freedom—my addiction to porn.
The way He freed me from that addiction is something I can’t take credit for.
As I began to understand the depth of God’s grace and His unconditional love, I started asking the questions I had buried for years and began making my faith my own.
In that search for truth, I uncovered inconsistencies and false teaching in what I had once accepted without question.
That’s what led me to start blogging, writing novels, and hosting the Honest Christian Conversations podcast—to help others discern truth, think clearly, and not be misled by false beliefs.
