About Your Host
My name is Ana Murby, and I am your host. I grew up in a legalistic Christian lifestyle where I didn't feel comfortable asking questions about my faith and why I believe what I believe. After returning to Christ when I was 30, I started asking questions and making my faith my own. In that search for absolute truth, I found inconsistencies and lies within what I was taught as a child and even as a young adult. I started this podcast to help others find absolute truth amidst the lies and deceptions of wolves in sheep's clothing.
Fun Facts About Me
I am a stay-at-home mom of five children. I make my own granola bars, bread, and juices. I am also a Christian fiction writer and have two published novels; you can check them out here.
I like pineapple and green peppers as toppings for my pizza. Some shows I like are When Calls the Heart, The Twilight Zone (older one), Weather Gone Viral, Dick VanDyke Show, Beat Bobby Flay, The Bob Newhart Show, Mystery Science Theatre 3000, Чебурашка (Cheburashka) and Fawlty Towers. My all-time favorite movies are The Pianist, Pot O'Gold, The Philadelphia Story, Mitron (Bollywood film), Pride and Prejudice (Keira Knightley version), Return to Oz, the Mystery 101 series on Hallmark Mystery, Lord of The Rings, Ирония Судбы Или С Легким Паром (Irony of Fate), and Елки (Yolki).
Favorite music/artists: Ronan Keating, Skillet, Big Time Rush, Diana Krall, The Katinas, Ruslan, Jeremy Camp, The Gettys, Kaskade, Meduza, Swedish House Mafia, Dermot Kennedy, Sergey Lazarev, Michael Bolton, Denis Klyaver, and Arthur Pirozhkov. I have an eclectic music style but mostly listen to techno/EDM/electronica, Russian Pop, and worship music. In my spare time, I write novels, play Fortnite with my family, and teach myself the Russian language.
